Welcome to the new Galloway Village Neighborhood Association website!

You will find information about past events and future plans here. Our neighborhood association is relatively new, but we have achieved a lot in a very short amount of time.

• We won first place in the Neat Neighborhood competition (2024) receiving $6,000 from the Hatch Foundation.

• We have established one of the largest Neighborhood Watch programs in the city of Springfield.

• We won first place in the Bass Pro Marathon Cheering event 4 of the 5 years that we have participated. You can see in the photos below that we had a great time too.

• We have made great strides in preserving some of the historical buildings in Galloway. We are continuing to document and record the history of some our oldest buildings.

• We have done several stream cleanups in order to protect our water quality and the beauty of our neighborhood.

• We have worked with the City of Springfield to plan for the future of Galloway.

We hope to connect with our neighbors in order to provide a community that we can all enjoy and be proud of.

We have an amazing group of board members! They each have their own specialty...some are creative and a little goofy while others are professional or a little excentric. We feel that sometimes it takes a "Village" to oversee a "Village"....and we have an incredible group of people representing our Board!

We are fortunate to have the beautiful Galloway Creek flow through the middle of our neighborhood. We have Stream Clean Ups and Neighborhood Clean Ups.
